Placed on our front doorstep by the postman exactly one year after we were married, carved by one of our favorite guys around. We are looking forward to dishing him up a bowl of something tasty when he's here next.
oh lovely. And, one year?! holy smacks time flies.
awe I've missed so much! Just caught up a bit more (still have more the read)...sounds like a wonderful anniversary. And, your garden rocks my world. And, holy hell, Vietnam. Anyway, I've missed you and will be back with more regularity.
I love carved spoons. And somehow it seems more special to receive it on your one-year anniversary. On a not-at-all related note, some friends are out of town and I just picked up their week's allotment of veggies from the co-op. Got any good turnip or kohlrabi recipes? I'm a danger in the kitchen, so simple is best.
Zaaaa... that is SO sweet! And what a gorgeous spoon. Of course the food processor showed up yesterday after you left. My goodness, the pieces and parts are quite daunting. How I wish you were here....My word verification is "pootoc". You little pootoc, you!
